These classes are casual and informal. They start with an introduction to the focus of the day, and several demonstrations from the culinary team. Then groups divide up into stations where they work as teams to prepare, cook and present recipes of the day. The Chef will always be near by to help in the process. Many of these classes end by sitting down and feasting on the day’s bounty, of course with a tasting of paired wines selected by our sommelier.
In these classes tables are set up in a semicircle around our beautiful Jenn-Air kitchen. The Chef will prepare a meal for as he entertains you with stories of the culinary world, tricks of the trade, and knowledge of the recipes and food being prepared. Not to mention lots of good laughs. Of course, we want you to learn, but more than that, we want you to have a good time. All of our demonstration classes will be paired with wine, and our sommelier will be on hand to tell you more about the selection.
Farm to Table Dinners
Harvest “Farm to Table” Dinners include four courses of communal family style dining from shared platters. These Dinners are served Wednesday nights all summer and are built around our local farmers’ market that will take place on our patio every Wednesday from 9 to 1, ensuring that the freshest ingredients that are available from our partner farms. Dinner is $75 per person and begins at 7:00 p.m. We welcome all to join in the fun.
